In order to provide you with the very best service, we require that you read our policies. By Applying to
participate in our programs,you have read and understand the terms and conditions of volunteering with Dream Africa Volunteer
Service(DAVS).
You must be 17yrs old to participate. Children accompanying their parent/legal guardian must be 12yrs
old.
Travel insurance and medical coverage is not included in the program cost. These are the responsibility of the
volunteer.
DAVS is not responsible for loss of property, personal injury, illness, accident, delay or expense sustained
by the volunteer while participating in our program.
DAVS and its agents are not responsible for any financial obligations
or liabilities the participant may incur including damages to property, or injury to others while participating on this program.
DAVS is not responsible for the cost of extra activities (sightseeing, language class etc) incurred during the course
of your program. Daily transportation costs are the volunteer's responsibility, although we try to confirm accommodations
within walking distance to work site or bus transportation (very cheap in each Ghana).
Volunteers agree to follow
the laws of Ghana, the policies of the community in which they volunteer, and/or the rules of the host family, failure to
do so will result in the termination of your program and forfeiture of all program fees.
A non-refundable deposit
of $150 is required along with your application. Program costs paid in US dollars or Euro only. We begin the confirmation
process once the deposit is received.Volunteers agree that no part of the program fee is refundable once the program has commenced.
Cancellations must be received in writing.

CODE OF CONDUCT
Participation in the organization's program is subject
to the observance of the organizaton's rules.The activities outlined below are restrictly prohihibited.Any participant or
staff member who violates this Code is subject to discipline,up to and including removal from program.
1.Abusive language towards a staff member or Volunteer.
2. Possession or use of alcoholic beverage or illegal drugs on DAVS property
or reporting to the program while under influence of drugs or alcohol.
3.Bringing onto DAVS property dangerous or unathourise materials such as explosives,firearms,weapons or other similar
items.
4.Discourtesy or rudeness to fellow participant,staff member or volunteer.
5.Verbal,physical or visual harassment of another staff member or volunteer.
6.Actual or threatened violence toward any staff or volunteer.
7.Conduct endangering the life,safety,health or well-being of others.
8.Failure to follow any DAVS policy or procedure.
9.Bullying or taking unfair advantage of any volunteer.
10.Failing to cooperate with a supervisor/leader or mentor.
11.All donations,gifts and support to children,community,should channeled through DAVS.
